Previous Reunions
According to my own recollection, there have been reunions for the classes of 72/73 on three previous occasions - May 1993, some time in 1994 and September 2007. I don't know much about the middle one as I didn't attend ... and I can only think that was because I thought it was too soon after the first one.
Reunion No 1 was held at the Lomond Centre, and was attended by at least 70 former pupils and also a few teachers. There should be a picture somewhere - I'll ask around and try and post it if I get my hands on it. Ideally, it might even identify who is who (well, we've all changed ...).
Reunion No 2 ? I need somebody to provide the information - Susan ? Pat ? Allan ? Derek ?
Reunion No 3 was held at the good old CISWO, with a pre-reunion meeting at the Golden Acorn, where we managed to attract at least one guy who wasn't in our year but fancied coming along anyway ! Alan Johnston, does that name ring a bell ? We had about 60 legitimate attendees, started off with a champagne welcome (Anne Thomson has since admitted to taking advantage of the left-overs), played a few games, had a buffet, disco and some drunken speeches. There is definitely some photographic evidence, follow the link ...

This was when we really started to live in the 21st Century, using tools like (gasp) e-mail. Seven years later and we're trying to get into Social Media !
The 2007 reunion was such a success that it spawned regular meetings of those of us who haven't ventured far from Glenrothes. Either that or we're all just more acute of our age !!! Anyway, I can remember a ten-pin bowling / 5-a-side day (with food and drinks at the Gilvenbank Hotel) and then social events at the end of 2010 (Gilvenbank), 2011 (Fettykill Fox - followed by Karaoke at the Prinlaws), 2012 and 2013 (both Pinkerton's Christmas Party Nights). Who knows what 2014 will bring ? One of our group has a huge birthday and our livers have that to contend with. But you only live once ...
